The length is 381 – 1600 mm. the feather looks like wires the colours, is brown black white or black and white the colours of it’s beak are red and yellow. It is huge. It surves like a chisel or a common jigsaw. It also has a crest. It has bright color skin and feathes around its eyes and throat. We can see the eyelashes clearly. The wings is strong and the tail is long. The foot are very short ( especially for ground horn bill bucorvus ). The fingers of it’s foot are big and sindactive the difference of sexval is real for common species and it is unreal for others.

The are usually life in couple or in a small group. They live on trees (especially bucorvus) it’s sound is crowded ( for common species ), the yell hard and strongly it’s wing sounds while they are flying
